A SHORT HISTORY OF DOMUSCULTA
Domusculta was created in 2001 by the three partners, Andrea del Gallo di Roccagiovine, Roberto Perino and Stefano Dorizzi, to develop the ‘Borgo di Tragliata’ agro tourism project.
The development of the project needed the remodelling of a medieval village which was entrusted to Andrea Del Gallo, the operational management and quality control of the agro tourism complex was given to Roberto Perino, while the commercial development and the administration to Stefano Dorizzi.
2001 saw the beginning of the agro tourism activity with a restaurant room and three apartments, with sleeping facilities for 12 people.
The project was almost fully completed by 2004 with an accomodation capacity for up to 95 people, as well as a congress centre and food facility for a maximum capacity of 600 persons.
The project was so successful that Domusculta looked for another building to further develop the complex, especially the banqueting end of the business. To this end, at the beginning of 2005, it incorporated the management of ‘Casale della Falcognana’.
The villa has a lot of historic and artistic charm, and since it is located in the proximity of the city it is the ideal place to hold wedding receptions as well as business meetings and commercial presentations.
At the beginning of 2006, and as a result of the great success of the venture, Domusculta incorporated ‘Casale di Sant’Andrea’.
This rural home, just a few kilometres from Borgo di tragliata, is located on a panoramic hill and offers a rustic ambiance ideal for wedding banquets, parties and business meetings.
